Robert M. Goldsmith — CEO & President
Bob Goldsmith has had a long and successful career developing proprietary consumer goods, contracting for their manufacture and directing their worldwide distribution for both his own company and in a high executive posting in a publicly traded entity. He has served as an advisor for economic development strategies and food safety issues to various governments seeking to enhance their emerging economies. Bob created the SIRA Food Sentinel System™ with its Transinformative Barcode and since its inception has guided the creation of this exciting new product. He now serves as the President of SIRA Technologies, Inc.
Catherine Goldsmith, Chief Operating Officer
Goldsmith is a graduate of the Charles Morris Price School of Advertising & Journalism at Temple University. Her continuing education included Third World economics, marketing, international business, personnel management, “Doing Business with China” program at the USC School for International Business Research & Education, USC refresher course in training adults. For SIRA, Catherine liaisons with governments on legislative/regulatory issues and represents the company to trade organizations and at scientific meetings. She also coordinates collaborative studies between SIRA, universities and governments worldwide, some of which have resulted in peer-reviewed published studies.
Brad Reddersen — Chief Technology Officer
Reddersen received a B.S. in Physics from Harvey Mudd College, and his Masters at the Institute of Optics, University of Rochester. Brad brings to SIRA over 25 years of experience in strategic planning, innovative product design, engineering management, and marketing leadership in high-technology industries. He has excelled at leading teams to develop products that, in the past ten years, have produced over $500 million in revenues and are number one or number two in most
served markets. He has a strong international business background, including programs involving business development, technology research, along with OEM system solution creation, and cross-continent joint product development leadership. Inventor of 16 granted U.S. patents on barcode technology to date, with others pending, and lead investigator in 85 other granted intellectual properties.
Dan Atkinson — Quality Assurance
Dan came to SIRA with a wealth of experience and success as a senior Quality Assurance Engineer in the bio-medical industry where oversight talent for the benefit of marquis brands was applied to esoteric as well as over-the-counter products. His academic history has been enriched from attendance at Notre Dame, Indiana University, and UCLA. Dan’s initial missions for SIRA are related to thermochromatic ink activation systems and oversight of SIRA’s proprietary inks to assure an absence of counterfeiting, willful insertion of pernicious elements and universal equivalent performance characteristics.
Advisory Board
Dr. Mitch Hartson — Hartson has a BS Degree from the State University of New York in Secondary Education, a Master and Doctorate of Education Degrees from the College of William and Mary. Dr. Hartson entered federal service at the United States Army Quartermaster Center and School, Fort Lee, Virginia in November 1966. After serving in a number of assignments of increasing responsibilities, he became Director of Operations, Army Center of Excellence, Subsistence (ACES), September 1990 and continued to serve in that capacity until his retirement in January 2006. Upon retirement, he established his own company, Creative Business Ideas,. As the ACES Director of Operations, Hartson supervised a staff responsible for oversight and management of the Army Food Program to include construction of new facilities, and coordination with the food industry. He also served as the Army’s lead representative for development and maintenance of the Army’s portion of the Department of Defense Research, Development, Test and Evaluation Program.
Dr. William B. Euler — Chair Department of Chemistry, University of Rhode Island; Bill received his Ph.D., Inorganic Chemistry, Florida State University; B.S., Chemistry and Mathematics, University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Commencing in 1982, Dr. Euler has had a distinguished career in the Chemistry Department at the University of Rhode Island; rising from an Associate Professor to the Chair of the Department. He has more than 75 publications in peer-reviewed journals including topics in solid state chemistry and physics, conducting materials, inorganic chemistry, polymer
synthetic chemistry, polymer reaction chemistry, photochemistry, quantum chemical calculations, and IR, NMR, UV-Vis, and EPR spectroscopy.
Dr. Douglas Park — Immediate past director of the FDA Division of Natural Toxicants. In his previous positions as the Head of the Food Science Departments at the University of Arizona and Louisiana State University, he directed the microbiological development of the SIRA barcode. He also served as SIRA’s Chief Science Officer for over 10 years. Dr. Park has recently retired and has agreed to serve on our board of directors, as well as be a consultant for microbiological sciences.
David Miller — Currently President and Founder of Operations Technologies, Dave is an "Inc 500" award winner and has degrees in Math and Computer Science from Georgia Tech and Armstrong Universities. He has spent the last 9 years working primarily in the food and pharmaceutical industries, and has over 25 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing in industries including: food, pharmaceutical, medical devices, automotive, electronic, aerospace, textile, and chemical. He is an industry-recognized expert in technology, inventory management, and traceability. Miller has been asked to speak before the US Congress, the Institute of Food Technologist (IFT) etc. He is a frequent adviser to some of the worlds largest manufacturing companies such as Cargill, Dairy Farmers of America, Riceland, Gulfstream Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, General Electric, General Motors, Hyundai, Kia, Roche Pharmaceutical, Genentech, Brooks Foods, Hartmann-Conco, and ICI.
